After tying up with Uber Careem in UAE, now it’s an award in Dubai!

It had been a fabulous first year for Power Sportz, the world’s first sports web TV operating from its state-of-the-art studio in Gurugram. The channel has achieved several milestones one of which includes covering the 2019 ICC CWC in England and Wales.

Kanthi D Suresh, the founder, and editor-in-chief of Power Sportz signed up legendary international cricketers for its unique World Cup programming to work in tandem with former Indian cricketers sitting live at the studio throughout the World Cup.

Among international cricketers, Desmond Haynes was in the studio for the entire stretch of the world event. Others who were dispersed across the world included Clive Lloyd, Andy Bichel, Tony Dell, and Gary Cosier among others. There was Nayan Mongia, Sadanand Viswanath, Atul Wassan, Vivek Razdan, Vijay Dahiya and the young Unmukt Chand who were live from the studio during the World Cup.

Power Sportz collaborates with Uber-Careem

Careem was the largest ride-sharing company in the Middle-East before the US giant Uber acquired it, further boosting their stronghold in the region. In a recent business deal, Power Sportz signed up with Uber-Careem to share its select sports content to be used as their in-ride entertainment offering. This shows the sway Power Sportz programs have on the audience.

Award time for the channel

The qualitative and impactful investigative journalism driven by the CEO Kanthi D Suresh, through the numerous programs on Power Sportz, especially the weekly debate show “Talking Turkey with Kanthi”, remains the core competency of the company.

The efforts of Kanthi D Suresh have not gone unrecognized. She was recently invited by IIT Kanpur to deliver a lecture on entrepreneurship for an event which was graced by renowned dignitaries in the past.

Apart, Kanthi was also awarded recently by a Cabinet Minister from Haryana for her achievements as an entrepreneur.

According to a #trending on Twitter a few days back, many people have talked about Kanthi receiving a Presidential award in Dubai in the mid of September. However, there was no definite mention of the specific President who would give her the award.

Hence, we will come to know the truth behind this highly publicized award ceremony in Dubai only by the mid of September.
