2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer vs. 2024 Ford Bronco Sport Comparison

Both the Chevrolet Trailblazer and the Ford Bronco Sport have striking looks. The design of the Bronco Sport is more reminiscent of an older SUV, a nod to its bigger SUV sibling. The Free Wheeling Edition, which features striking painted alloy wheels and sizable exterior decals, is new for this model year.

This year, the Chevy Trailblazer gets a mid-cycle upgrade that includes a digital instrument panel, push-button start, cruise control, an HD backup camera, and other standard amenities. The exterior is refreshed. While both are stylish, it has a more sensual appearance than the Bronco Sport’s boxy design.

2024 Ford Bronco Sport

There are five trim levels for the 2024 Bronco Sport, with a starting price of $31,390 that includes delivery. An 8-speed automated with a 1.5-liter, 3-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 181 horsepower is the standard powerplant. A 2.0-liter turbo-4 with 250 horsepower is an optional feature. The good news is that both engines come standard with all-wheel drive (AWD).

Ford Bronco Sport Highlights

Powerful turbo-4: The Ford Bronco Sport Badlands is the only trim level equipped with the vivacious 250 horsepower turbo-4 engine. Along with underbody skid plates, off-road suspension settings, all-terrain tyres, front tow hooks, and a front-facing camera to help navigate around potential unknown obstructions, it starts at about $39,000.

Classic SUV design: They love the playful Free Wheeling variant, but it looks extremely 1970s. Thanks to its red, orange, and yellow exterior stripes and alloy wheels with red highlights, you won’t lose it in a parking lot. The Heritage trim is also available; it has white-painted wheels, a white grille, and a white roof. For the record, the Bronco Sport’s square design also benefits from plenty of headroom in this SUV.

Load up with extras: The Ford Bronco Sport offers a wide range of Ford-engineered options.

2024 Chevrolet Trailblazer

There are four trim levels available for the Chevy Trailblazer: LS, LT, Activ, and RS. New colours such Cactus Green and Copper Harbour Metallic have been added, and the front end has been changed.

A 1.2-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder engine producing 137 horsepower and mated to an economical continuously variable automatic gearbox make up the standard powertrain. The only one of the two that gives the option of front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive (AWD) is the optional 1.3-liter turbocharged 3-cylinder with 155 horsepower. At $24,395 (destination fees included), it is significantly less expensive than the Ford Bronco Sport.

Chevrolet Trailblazer Highlights

Chevrolet Safety Assist is a group of standard safety features that includes automatic high beams, lane-keeping assistance, lane-departure warning, automated emergency braking with pedestrian recognition, and a following distance indicator.

Simple infotainment system: The dash design inside has been much enhanced. The standard equipment now includes an 8-inch digital instrument display and an 11-inch infotainment touchscreen. A Wi-Fi hot spot, two USB connections, Amazon Alexa, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and more are included.

Adventure-loving Activ model: Outdoor enthusiasts, or at least those who enjoy driving over and over it, will be drawn to the Activ model. This version with an off-road motif comes with 17-inch black alloy wheels, underbody skid plates, and a stiffer suspension.

Similarities

Both the Chevy Trailblazer and the extrovert Ford Bronco Sport have endearing personalities and striking looks. They also feature plenty of storage room, adult-friendly back seats, and good gas mileage.

Conclusion

The cost distinction between the Chevy Trailblazer and Ford Bronco Sport may play a big role in this. The starting price of Ford is $1,000 more than even the most luxurious trim level offered by Chevy.

The Ford Bronco Sport, on the other hand, feels less budget-conscious, and we adore the vintage-inspired models. It is also, without a doubt, the better off-road vehicle. If your budget permits it, the Ford is worth the more money, but in this case, the Chevy is the better value option.
