First Look At The Two New Paint Colours For The 2025 Chevy Trax

As previously revealed by GM Authority, the 2025 Chevy Trax will soon be available in two new colours. We’re now giving you a preview of the tiny crossover’s brand-new exterior colours.

Marina Blue Metallic (paint code GKN) and Cypress Grey (paint code GBD) are the names of the two new paint colours. Available on every 2025 Chevy Trax trim level, Marina Blue is a vibrant, joyful blue colour. Meanwhile, only the LS and LT trims are offered in the understated, stylish Cypress Grey colour. The Trax is available in both colours at no extra cost.

Remind yourself that all of the colours that are available for the 2025 Trax are shown below (applicable paint codes are indicated in parenthesis):

  • Green Cacti (GVR)
  • Metallic Crimson (GFM)
  • Metallic Mosaic Black (GB8)
  • Metallic Nitro Yellow (GCP)
  • Metallic Sterling Grey (GXD)
  • Summit White (GAZ)
  • For 2025, Cypress Grey (GBD) will be new.
  • New for 2025 is Marina Blue Metallic (GKN).

The second model year of the second generation of compact crossovers is the 2025 Chevy Trax. Significant modifications were made to the redesigned Trax, which resulted in it being longer, wider, and lower than its predecessor. Its measurements are as follows: 178.6 inches for length, 71.7 inches for width (without mirrors), and 61.4 inches for height. This results in three more inches of rear legroom and a 12% greater load space inside.

With thin horizontal lighting marks atop the headlights and a two-tiered “highbrow” headlight treatment up front, the second-generation Trax shares exterior design cues with its larger brother, the Chevy Blazer.

The 2025 Chevy Trax is powered by a 1.2L I3 LBP gasoline engine that is turbocharged and compatible with E85 fuel. This engine produces 162 pound-feet of torque and 137 horsepower. The front wheels are the only ones powered by this engine when paired with the GM six-speed automatic gearbox.

At the GM Changwon facility in South Korea, production of the 2025 Trax, which is based on the GM VSS-F vehicle set, began in early March. Starting price is $21,495 USD.
