How can you turn your passion into a career?
It’s not a quick process, but it’s possible. I recommend finding a mentor, someone who has already done what you’re trying to do. This will save you from making the same mistakes that they did, which speeds things up. Then turn your passion into a side hustle and find different ways to make money off of it. While you’re doing that, start getting press. Build your social media presence and figure out ways to get into the local news. Being visible and known for how good you are at something is critical to making it your job. Like I said, it’s not quick, but I think most passions can become careers if you put the time into it.
What’s something you keep in mind as you build your business?
Everyone has a story and everyone is fighting a battle. Always assume the best out of people. The only way you’ll build successful business relationships is if you lead with empathy and trust that everyone is doing their best.
