In 2025, Kia Plans To Introduce Its First Pickup Vehicle

Kia Tasman: Kia is getting ready to make a move into the pickup truck market. In the near future, the automaker will introduce its first pickup truck. Tasman is the name Kia gave to this pickup vehicle. The many Australian landscapes served as inspiration for the firm while designing this pickup truck. Kia worked with artist Richard Boyd-Dunlop, who is based in New Zealand, to design the pickup truck.

The pick-up truck has a special design

Kia’s pickup truck has a really appealing look. It has curved components added to it. Its front grille now has five vertical slats fitted. Along with DRLs, vertically stacked headlights have also been added. All four wheels are alloy and equipped with disc brakes. The first pick-up vehicle with this unique design will be introduced by Kia to the world market.

Will be launched here first

Information regarding the specifications of this pickup truck has not yet been released by Kia. However, Kia has stated that a diesel engine will be available for the Tasman when it launches. For this model, a 2.2-liter diesel engine is an option. This Kia pickup will be available for purchase in 2025. It is possible to make this pickup truck for left- or right-hand drivers. Australia is where Kia may debut this truck initially.

There has been no information made public about this pickup truck’s Indian debut. By the end of this year, Kia will be able to introduce the new Carnival MPV and EV9 in India concurrently.
