India’s 5 Upcoming 7-Seater SUVs With ADAS By 2024

5 new seven-seater SUVs featuring ADAS technology are scheduled to debut in India this year.

More than ever, buyers are drawn to SUVs with ADAS-based safety and driver assistance features, therefore that technology will be included in a number of upcoming models.

1. Jeep Meridian Facelift:

The second half of 2024 will see the arrival of the upgraded Jeep Meridian. It will get improved aesthetics and an enhanced interior with extra features including ADAS as part of its mid-cycle refresh. There won’t be any changes to the current powertrain choices. Jeep reintroduced the Meridian X special edition a few days ago. Accessorising it costs Rs. 50,000 more than the Limited MT version.

3. Kia EV9:

In late 2024 or early 2025, Kia is anticipated to launch their flagship seven-seater electrified SUV in India. This model is available in both RWD and AWD versions globally, with a WLTP range of 541 km on a single charge.

3. Nissan X-Trail:

Selling as a completely imported vehicle, the seven-seater Nissan X-Trail SUV is anticipated to come with a 1.5L turbo petrol engine instead of the much anticipated e-Power system. Launched in Japan in 2022, the fourth generation global X-Trail will be available in a few trim levels or as a single fully loaded model. It will first be offered in restricted numbers and equipped with Nissan’s ProPilot & Driver Assist Technology.

4. MG Gloster Facelift:

Multiple testing of the facelifted MG Gloster have been spotted, displaying visual improvements. There will also be a number of improvements to the interior. But there won’t be any modifications made to the engine. An important update to the current ADAS suite may be in store.

5. Hyundai Alcazar Facelift:

Hyundai intends to unveil the redesigned Alcazar, which draws inspiration from the most recent Creta, in the latter part of 2024. In comparison to the present model, the revised model will have a significantly different look and an interior replete with new technology, such as Level 2 ADAS. The 1.5L turbocharged petrol and 1.5L diesel engines that are currently in use won’t alter.
