Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid Infotainment System Upgrades

With its revolutionary 48-volt hybrid powertrain powering it, the new Jeep Avenger e-Hybrid not only promises lower CO2 emissions but also remarkable driving performance, continuing the Jeep brand’s groundbreaking electrification path.

The new Avenger e-Hybrid’s powertrain, which combines performance and comfort, is the pinnacle of technical advancement.

Thanks to its cutting-edge technology, the new Avenger e-Hybrid makes driving incredibly smooth, allowing lucky journalists to enjoy electric mobility at slower speeds. This is made feasible by the electric engine and 6-speed automatic e-DCS6 dual-clutch transmission’s integration.

The path follows the Avenger’s dual spirit, making it easy to navigate both on and off road. The on-road route gives the driver the opportunity to test out both the tech features, such L2 assisted driving, and the hybrid features, like energy recovery and electric drive at low speeds.

The goal of the new Avenger e-Hybrid is to be the first vehicle to be electrified. It uses a 48V hybrid powertrain that is lightweight and capable of providing almost a full hybrid experience.

For a seamless transition to the electric drive that also reduces CO2 emissions, a 100 horsepower internal combustion engine paired with a 21 kW electric motor is then integrated into a double-clutch, 6-speed automatic gearbox and a 48 volt belt starter. The same amount of interior space as the Avenger petrol is used by the 0.9 kWh lithium-ion battery, which is situated beneath the driver’s seat.

Just 60 kg separates the 48V hybrid system’s total weight from an automated gearbox. As a result, the new Avenger e-Hybrid weighs only 1280 kg overall.
