Redevelopment of Aamir Khan’s seafront building will be handled by MICL Group

In the upscale Pali Hill neighborhood of Bandra west, Man Infraconstruction Ltd. plans to renovate a building partially owned by Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, according to a statement released here on Friday.

The 37,000 square foot plot of land where the sea-facing building owned by Aamir Khan and others is set to undergo redevelopment, which is anticipated to begin in the middle of 2024.

The building is called Virgo CHS Ltd. and it has 24 apartments spread across two wings, Bella Vista and Marine, nine of which are owned by Khan.

The building will house extremely opulent apartments with a sales component spanning about 50,000 square feet, with an estimated revenue of approximately Rs 500 crore. MICL will redevelop it via a subsidiary.

Following redevelopment, every current owner will be qualified for larger apartments that have between 55 and 60 percent more space than what is currently there.

Current market indications in the Pali Hill neighbourhood suggest that the flats in the refurbished building, which have four and five BHKs and a sea view each, will probably cost between Rs. 125-K psf.

Known as the “glamour crescent,” which stretches from Bandra west to Oshiwara on Mumbai’s west coast, the charming Pali Hill is the beginning point of the celestial residence of stars and other celebrities.

Along with wealthy individuals, executives of both domestic and international corporations, politicians, and other prominent figures from the entertainment industry, Bandra, Khar, Santacruz, Vile Parle Juhu, Versova, and the surrounding areas are home to a large number of glamorous figures from movies, television, and other media.

In addition to their offices being in the area, some of the area’s well-known actors are Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Sanjay Dutt, Saira Banu, Rekha, Amitabh Bachchan, Shabana Azmi-Javed Akhtar, Anil Kapoor and clan, Rani Mukherjee, Farah Khan, Vivek Oberoi, and other top film producers-directors and music directors.
