The current India-spec variant on sale is 15 mm shorter than the UK-spec model. Nevertheless, its wheelbase and width are the same as those of the Swift built for India. The model sold in our nation is up to 35 mm longer than the UK-spec model.

Available Powertrain

The new 1.2-liter 3-cylinder Z series petrol engine, which is seen on the Japan-spec hatchback, is available for the Suzuki Swift in the UK. It produces a bit more torque but the same amount of power as the Japan-spec variant. Customers in these two markets can choose between a manual and automatic 12V mild hybrid system for the new hatchback. Suzuki will continue to provide the UK-spec Swift with an all-wheel drive (AWD) option, just as the Japan-spec vehicle.
