Argentina Views 2024 Chevrolet Silverado High Country

General Motors unveiled the 2024 Chevy Silverado High Country in Argentina, only days after announcing the arrival of Chevrolet’s most recognisable truck in the nation.

As previously exclusively reported by GM Authority, the automaker formally unveiled the 2024 Chevy Silverado High Country in the Argentinean market, reaffirming that the top-of-the-line model is the one selected for the full-size truck’s official debut in that nation. As a lead-up to its upcoming local launch, the 2024 Silverado High Country is actually currently visible on the Chevrolet Argentina website.

GM Argentina specifically disclosed that the 2024 Chevy Silverado would bring back the renowned brand to the nation’s home market. It will come in a special configuration that includes the top trim level and a gasoline V8 powerplant that is the same as the one being sent to Brazil. Despite not mentioning it by name, the company’s statement and website’s photographs unmistakably depict the High Country variant.

Furthermore, the Bow Tie brand’s official stand at the annual automotive fair in the Argentine town of Cariló opened its doors this past weekend. It has a pre-launch example of a 2024 Chevy Silverado High Country. The logo “La Fuerza de la Leyenda,” or “The Force of the Legend,” which will be used to promote the Silverado’s return to Argentina, is pictured there beside Chevrolet’s flagship truck.

The naturally aspirated 5.3L V8 L84 engine, which produces 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque, will power the 2024 Chevy Silverado High Country sold in Argentina. It is mated to GM’s 10-speed automatic gearbox and comes equipped with all the equipment found in the pickup’s top variant.

The 2024 Chevy Silverado High Country will be on exhibit at the Cariló auto show in Argentina through February 13th. This is the first opportunity for Argentine customers to see the most advanced version of the truck before its official sale later this year. It’s probable that the 2024 Silverado for Argentina will be shipped from the GM Fort Wayne facility in Indiana because it’s nearly the exact same model as the one offered in Brazil.
