Cumberland football player Jonquall Carrothers enthrals people with his football talent, confidence and passion.

“When you love what you do, be it in any field, and determinedly make consistent efforts, the sky’s the limit,” says the 24-year-old linebacker, known for his excellent tackles.

The closer we look around ourselves, the more we notice how different fields and industries are rocked by outstandingly talented beings who believe in always putting their best foot forward and pushing the envelope. These individuals, especially youngsters, display their exceptional skills and talents and, with their never-say-die attitude, keep moving consistently on their path by taking out their best versions in their respective fields and reach exponential levels of success in their career. Doing exactly that is a young football genius named Jonquall Carrothers from Memphis, TN, the US.

Jonquall Carrothers has risen to the top of the sporting world for the kind of passion, determination and resilience he has shown from a very early age, right since the time he began with college football at MTSU. Very few youngsters who enter the world of football go ahead in carving their unique niche and ultimately a special place in the hearts of football lovers and fanatics, and Jonquall Carrothers has enthralled the world with his confidence and passion for the game as a top linebacker, who has to his credit massive tackles.

After starting his career in collegiate football, he transferred to Cumberland University as a DB due to some coaching changes. Later, in the Mid- South conference, Jonquall became a star linebacker racking up 119 tackles. Since graduating and transferring to Campbellsville University as a Grad Transfer Linebacker, this young football talent has never looked back.

In his one year at Campbellsville, Jonquall went ahead in achieving numerous accolades like Kentucky Pro Football Hall of Fame All Commonwealth Team Selection, First Team NCCAA All American, First Team All Mid-South Conference, Academic All Mid-South Conference, becoming Mid-South Conference Tackle Leader, NCCAA Scholar Athlete, achieving 9th rank in Tackles Nationally (All Positions) and 3rd rank Linebacker Nationally in tackles.

He took everyone by surprise when last year he got featured on CNN’s special report by Demetrius Pipkin called “America On Hold: We All Have a Story”. Jonquall finished his collegiate football last year fall for the Phoenix ranking second on the team with 52 total tackles.

He aims to play a lot more games in the coming years and desires to soon reach the top of the sporting world.
