Sebastian Korda is defeated by Jiri Lehecka, who moves on to the Adelaide International final

Jiri Lehecka advanced to the Adelaide International final on Friday by defeating Sebastian Korda, who was ranked third, 6-2, 6-1.

In the competition, the Czech player has only lost one set. On Saturday at Memorial Drive, he will play Jack Draper. In the other semifinal, Draper defeated Alexander Bublik 7-6 (2), 6-4.

Korda was hoping to make it to two Adelaide finals in a row. Despite possessing a championship point, he lost to Novak Djokovic in the previous season.

Sixth-seeded and 2017 French Open winner Jelena Ostapenko defeated Ekaterina Alexandrova 6-2, 7-6 (3) in a semifinal of the WTA section of the competition. Additionally, Daria Kasatkina defeated Jessica Pegula in the other semifinal by a walkover.

At Hobart, Mertens Into The Final

First-placed After defeating Daria Saville 6-4, 4-6, 7-5, Elise Mertens moved on to the Hobart International final. In the eleventh game of the decisive set, Mertens broke Saville’s serve and won the next game by holding her serve.

After Emma Navarro defeated Chinese qualifier Yuan Yue 6-4, 6-3, via walkover, Mertens will face the second-seeded player in today’s final.
