Even though the 2024 Chevy Colorado debuted just after the all-new third generation pickup truck, which will be available in 2023, it also brings some major modifications to the midsize vehicle. The available selection of interior colours and materials for the 2024 Colorado is being highlighted by GM Authority today.
The WT, LT, Trail Boss, Z71, and ZR2 trim levels of the vehicle are among the five trim levels that are offered with the eight inside colours of the 2024 Chevy Colorado. There is one interior colorway that is both standard and available for each of these trim levels, with some colours being exclusive to extra packages. The availability is outlined in the table below:
- Exclusive to the LT Convenience Package III (PDB) and included.
- Exclusive to Z71 Convenience Package III (PDC) and included.
- Exclusive to ZR2 Convenience Package III (PDD) and included.
Interestingly, the optional Evotex seats on the WT and Trail Boss trims cost an extra $1,250, whereas the Evotex seats on other trim levels come standard at no further expense. While cloth and Evotex seats come standard on the Z71 and ZR2, the cost of the Evotex seats is part of the LT Convenience Package III (RPO code PDB) if it is chosen for inclusion on the LT trim.
GM filed a trademark application for the word Evotex, a synthetic cloth used in Chevy cars, back in early 2023. The material is intended to feel good to the touch and has properties akin to those of leather. It is made to be sturdy and resistant to spills and stains. It is lighter in weight and its creation leaves less of a carbon footprint than that of leather upholstery.
The highly off-road capable, brand-new Colorado ZR2 Bison Edition package is the highlight of the upgrades for the 2024 Chevy Colorado. The truck now has two powertrain options after the Turbo Plus 2.7L I4 L3B engine was removed from the list.
The Turbo 2.7L I4 L2R gasoline engine, which produces 237 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, or the TurboMax 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine, which produces 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque, provide the drive. For the 2024 model year, the latter engine’s TurboMax nameplate also made its debut.
